Solid Surface materials are made from acrylic polymer resins combined with pigments and fire-retardant fillers. They are available in a wide range of colors and patterns from several manufacturers. Finish is polished, non-reflective.
These materials are impact resistant and work well in high-moisture environments.
Solid Surface materials are homogeneous. As a result, most scratches and minor damage can be completely repaired with light sanding and polishing.
Another advantage of Solid Surface material is seams can be chemically bonded, so they are not visible in the final product. Seams are often required in Solid Surface partition designs.
Ironwood partitions made from Solid Surface materials are normally manufactured as Zero Sightline privacy systems. Other options, including traditional partition systems, are also available.
