Ceiling Hung partitions are well-suited for restrooms where the floor cannot be penetrated. This includes locations with radiant in-floor heating or post tension concrete flooring.
This style’s unobstructed floor area offers the additional benefit of a quick and simplified restroom cleanup.
Ceiling anchors are the primary source of stability for these partitions, so structural steel is required and needs to be set within 2″ of the pilaster connection.
This style should not be used in restrooms with ceilings over 108” high.
This style is not compatible with Stone or Solid Surface, due to weight or Solid Plastic, due to its physical characteristics. Suspended ceilings preclude the use of this style.
