General Info

Features and guidelines for Captured Panel partitions:

  • Can be constructed with inserts made from the same material used for the door frame to give a mission style look.
  • Other non-translucent materials like mirrors or bead board panels can be embedded in the doors, resulting in almost limitless design opportunities.
  • Inserts can be up to 1/2” thick and weigh up to 40 lbs.
  • Compatible with partitions made with Wood Veneer, Plastic Laminate, Compact Laminate or Solid Surface.

Considerations

Things to note about Captured Panel partitions:

  • Custom door configurations are available.
  • Hardware is available in chrome, brushed stainless and powder coat.
  • Captured Panel doors may not be suitable for extreme high traffic areas.
  • Proper consideration should be given to cleaning requirements.
  • Only Compact Laminate doors with Captured Panels are appropriate for wet areas.
