Consist of 0.037" (typical) wood veneer bonded under pressure with environmentally friendly, PVA type adhesive to 45 pound, industrial-grade particle board. All edges are banded with a slightly thicker veneer of the same species.

0.25" thick natural or engineered stone bonded under pressure to 0.50" thick. Aluminum honeycomb core.

Manufactured from acrylic polymer resins combined with pigments and fire retardant fillers. Homogeneous composition minimizes the visibility of scratches and minor damage.

Custom printed, high pressure laminate 0.039 inch (0.991 mm) thick is bonded under pressure with an environmentally friendly, PVA-type adhesive to 45 pound, industrial-grade particle board. All edges are self-edged.

Sheets of kraft paper impregnated with phenolic resins are heated, pressed. Both faces of the core are covered with a decorative sheet and a transparent melamine overlay that provides wear protection and surface finish.

High pressure laminate 0.039 inch (0.991 mm) thick is bonded under pressure with an environmentally friendly, PVA-type adhesive to 45 pound, industrial-grade particle board. All edges are self-edged.

European Style

The partition is attached to the floor and stabilized at the top of the pilaster with anti-grip headrail. This style is very stable and is recommended for heavy traffic areas.

This style is mounted to the floor and ceiling and is recommended where additional stability is desired. Not recommended for ceiling heights over 8 feet.

This style is mounted to the floor and is recommended for areas where the aesthetics of this style are desired. It requires a minimum 3" concrete floor for anchoring.

Door and panel heights are typically 38" for children's size partitions. Panel widths are typically 46". Non-typical dimensions may be specified to suit conditions. Children's height pilasters are often floor-mounted.

Panels and doors are fixed at 71" in height.

Panels and doors are as close as 1" from the floor. Panel tops are as close as 1" from the ceiling. Doors are overheight with transoms overhead. The transoms may be as close as 1" from the ceiling.

Door and pilaster edges shall be engineered to overlap, eliminating visual gaps, or "sightlines".

Materials are cut to within 0.001” tolerance of the specified design. Inlays are not water-tight. Inlays are attached to doors and panels with environmentally friendly adhesives and have no visible gaps.

Doors and Panels

Louvered doors and panels are built with stile and rail construction, using solid wood or wood veneer with an MDF core. Louvered doors and louvered panels are 1.25" thick. Non-louvered panels made with phenolic are 1/2" thick (typical). Ironwood Door Lite partitions are built with translucent panels inserted in the doors. Inserts can be up to 1/2" thick and weigh up to 40lb. Doors with inserts are 1-1/4" thick (typical). Panels made with phenolic are 1/2" thick (typical). Molding is milled and finished with stain, paint, or patterned material (square profile only) to meet specified design characteristics. Phenolic pilasters are 3/4" thick (typical). Laminate pilasters are 1-1/4" thick (typical). Plastic pilasters are 1" thick (typical). A leveling bolt is provided on the floor edge of the pilaster. Pilasters are attached to the floor using an 18 gauge galvanized steel plate to provide horizontal adjustment. A leveling bolt is provided on the floor edge of the pilaster.
